DIALOGUES AT WORK

Since 2016, when I worked with social innovation and recycling cooperatives in São Paulo, I have felt a deep calling to support groups and individuals in growing not just 'sustainably', but in harmony with life's natural rhythms—regenerative and kind to ourselves. This journey also required me to resist the mainstream frenetic pace and embrace slow productivity. I focus on doing less, while really caring about quality. 'Growing' is not linear nor individual, but cyclical and collective, interdependent. To stay updated and receive upcoming invitations, you can join me and other big-heart humans around the globe in reimagining the future of work. Let’s create a kinder environment in our organizations.

Ask to be trained in the Art of Hosting Flow Games.

If you have played the Flow Game a few times and feel called to become a host, read more about what this entails here

I encourage you to become a Flow game Host only if you feel called from the heart, not to just have another tool.

This is a personal practice that can accompany you for the rest of your life, and add a lot of value to your work and community.

During the training, you will learn how to host and organize Flow Games for yourself and others—and you’ll do so through hands-on practice!

Immersion Dialogue

Create a space for dialogue with your team, and provide them with one or many sessions to practice the skills of dialogue.

That can also be done with a group of experienced dialogue practitioners, our 'dialogue team', formed by Glenna Gerard and a few others consultants (including me).

The benefits of creating a culture of trust and dialogue in your organization can be many.

More on that: coming soon!

Team building

Traditional team building activities often fail to address the deeper, underlying issues within a team. Fun games can be interesting and do have a role in bringing people together, but they might not address the most meaningful and powerful questions present in your team.

The Flow Game is also a game, but don't let that fool you: it will encourage sincere participation from every person in bringing what matters to them, allowing for the collective awareness to focus on what really needs attention.

Not only the Flow game, but other facilitation and dialogic methods can be used to create the experience you need for your team. Schedule a call so I can understand where your team is at.

A few testimonials

"I loved the online Flow Game training. Both Amanda and Sophie did an amazing job. They are thoughtful, gentle and reflective. They embrace challenge and respond in a way which engages others in what needs to shift if anything. I loved the way they used exercises to build the cohesiveness of the group and I really enjoyed working with a co-host. I particularly liked the way they paid attention to detail ensuring we all knew what was going on, had resources to support and could go deeper if that’s what we wanted. When either of them gave reflection as part of the wisdom council – I did find myself wondering if the more you do it the wiser you get as their responses were so insightful – I hope I can respond like that one day. I loved the training and looking forward to the integration calls. Thank you so much."

“We brought an intransigent issue up to the Dialogue Team, so I had no idea what to expect.  Might they really be able to move us forward in this area that had been so hard for us, who are living the issue, to move forward? I was hopeful. During the dialogue session, my team spoke more deeply about the issue than they had before.  Maybe it helps to have really good listeners ;) Then during the session, they brought up some really important emotional issues that were in the landscape, assumed, but never really discussed.  Bringing these emotions to the forefront enabled everyone in the room to see and feel how hard each other's road had been. The vulnerability and compassion generated had a healing effect that reset the discussion. While the issue continues to be a challenge, the reduction in the emotional charge has enabled the dialog to continue forward on a much deeper "We can do this together" foundation. An incredible, cathartic, unexpected outcome that has benefitted us immensely! Thank you Dialogue Team!”

"We did a team building exercise with Amanda where each one of us had to bring a question about our participation in our team. The questions each person brought already revealed a lot about them - things I did not know. I also joined the process with my question, which was: How can I create a new language to talk about social entrepreneurship to attract the right investments for our organization?  The process took me to surprising places, and the Flow Game prompt led me to share more about my own personal values and why I am so passionate about the work I do, which had an impact in my team - they were touched by my story, and motivated to connect deeper to our purpose. The main outcome was definitely a stronger connection between team members that kept generating ripples as time went by. It was an important moment for us as we were navigating the uncertainties of the pandemic, in 2020."
